The IUCN estimates that fulfilling the goals of the Bonn challenge would create approximately $84 billion per year in net benefits that could positively affect income opportunities for rural communities.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://cmsdata.iucn.org/downloads/policy_brief_on_forest_restoration_2.pdf )〕 It is also estimated that an a reduction of the current Carbondioxide emissions gap by 11-17% will be achieved by meeting the challenge.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.iucn.org/about/work/programmes/forest/fp_our_work/fp_our_work_thematic/fp_our_work_flr/more_on_flr/bonn_challenge/ )〕 == See also ==
